Has anyone heard of this? Looks interesting...no dancing though. How can you have Nutcracker without ballet?!

Well, technically. The Nutcracker and The Mouse King was a story by ETA Hoffman first :)
It seems like the director has taken some inspiration from both the story and the ballet on this one but it's just another medium for for the classic story. I don't know if this movie is gonna be great but there are certainly a ton of films that capture the Nutcracker ballet so it's interesting to see one that doesn't.
